Soora Korean Gourmet is the brain chilled of Shin Ji Yeon (aka Nicole) a native South Korean from Seoul who emigrated to Montreal, Canada. Frustrated by not being able to find good authentic Korean specialty food products, Nicole decides to open a restaurant. Not long after opening, she realizes patrons are coming back to purchase products to take back home even local Asian restaurants start buying her dumplings, kimchi and Korean tofu.
In 2014, Nicole and Naor Cohen from the NCG Group (www.ncgtrading.com) decide to partner up and create Soora Korean Gourmet. Bringing to the retail and foodservice markets real authentic and 100% natural Korean specialty products.
A brand new state of the art production facility was built in Montreal, Quebec to produce our exquisite Korean food products. We are in the process of being HACCP certified and FDA registered.
